Nadejszło lato , prawie już.

A w raz z nim zaskoczenie.

Okazuje się że wystarczy regularnie , UCZCIWIE , stosować się do diety typu "M-Ż" (Mniej Żreć). W moim wypadku oznaczało to między innymi pozbycie się nawyku podjadania do późnego wieczora + jakieś piwko do tego.

Dodatkowo rezygnacja (na tyle na ile to wykonalne) z solenia i słodzenia. 

Dodatkowo systematyczny wysiłek fizyczny (głównie tzw. aerobowy).

I po jakimś czasie niespodzianka - trzeba szyć nowe spodnie bo te stare robią się dramatycznie luźne :)

Zużyłem wreszcie tkaninę w Irlandzkim kamuflażu.

Summer has come, almost there.

And with it a surprise.

It turns out that it is enough to regularly, HONESTLY, follow a "Eat Less" diet. In my case, this meant, among other things, getting rid of the habit of snacking until late in the evening + a some beer in addition etc.

Additionally, giving up (as much as possible) salting and sweetening.

Additionally, systematic physical exercise (mainly so-called aerobic/cardio).

And after some time, a SURPRISE - I have to sew new trousers because the old ones are getting dramatically loose :)

I finally used up the fabric in Irish camouflage.

Zasadniczo szyło się szybko ale nie obyło się bez potknięć.

Lubię jak są kieszenie z tyłu. Nie używam ich ale lubię jak są , ot tak dla wyglądu.

Tutaj miały był wpuszczane z klapką zapinaną na guzik. Ostatni raz szyłem taką kieszeń dobre dwa lata temu.

Oczywiście nie odświeżyłem sobie wiedzy z książki czy internetu , gdzie tam. Szyłem "z głowy" :(

To była katastrofa i intensywne prucie.

Skończyło się paskudną dziurą którą po odrobinie namysłu zasłoniłem naszytą łatą udającą patkę od kieszeni. Uważam że całkiem nieźle wybrnąłem z problemu.

Nie jesteście czegoś pewni na 100% - poświęćcie trochę czasu na odświeżenie wiedzy.

Basically, it was a quick sew, but there were some stumbles.

I like pockets at the back. I don't use them, but I like them, just for the look.

Here, they were supposed to be inset with a flap fastened with a button. The last time I sewed a pocket like that was a good two years ago.

Of course, I didn't refresh my knowledge from a book or the internet. I sewed "off the top of my head" .

It was a sewing disaster and intense unraveling of seams :(

It ended with an ugly hole, which after a bit of thought I covered with a sewn-on patch pretending to be a pocket flap. I think I got out of the problem quite well.

You are not 100% sure about something - Take some time to refresh your knowledge.

Ready shorts, finally something that fits.

Worki kieszeniowe na biodrach z tkaniny w zielonym kolorze - raz że fajnie to wygląda a dwa że tkaniny w kamuflażu było już za mało.

Z tego samego powodu kieszenie "cargo" są raczej mniejsze niż większe. Naszyłem je z przodu bo lubię taki układ.

Hip pockets made of green fabric - one, it looks cool and two, there wasn't enough camouflage fabric.

For the same reason, the "cargo" pockets are rather smaller than larger. I sewed them on the front because I like that arrangement.

Letnie lekkie spodnie bojówki w szwedzkim moro / Swedish desert camo summer pants

Temat zajęć to lekkie letnie spodnie "bojówki".

Użyta tkanina to rip-stop w szwedzkim kamuflażu pustynnym.

Krój spodni oparty na amerykańskich spodniach BDU ale bez wzmocnień na siedzeniu i kolanach tak aby wszędzie była tylko jedna warstwa tkaniny i całość dobrze oddychała w gorące dni.

Użyte nici to (moje ulubione) Ariadna Talia 80E w jasnozielonym kolorze nr 7541 - idealnie pasują do różnych pustynnych kamuflaży.

Today's topic - light summer "combat" trousers.

The fabric used here is rip-stop in Swedish desert camouflage.

The cut of the trousers is based on American BDU trousers, but without reinforcements on the seat and knees, so that there is only one layer of fabric everywhere and the whole thing breathes well on hot days.

The threads used are (my favorite) Ariadna Talia 80E in light green color no. 7541 - they perfectly match various desert camouflages.

Ponieważ lubię wygląd tylnych kieszeni w spodniach BDU ale nigdy ich nie używam - tutaj naszyłem dwa prostokątne kawałki tkaniny mające imitować wygląd patki kieszeniowej.

I jest cacy :)

Because I like the look of back pockets in BDU pants but I never use them - here I sewed on two rectangular pieces of fabric to imitate the appearance of a pocket flap.

And it's okay :)

W odróżnieniu od wszystkich poprzednich spodni tutaj pas nie jest oddzielnym kawałkiem tkaniny doszytym do spodni tylko naszytym na górnej krawędzi.

W sumie to nie wiem dlaczego wcześniej tak nie robiłem :/ ?

Unlike all previous trousers, the waist here is not a separate piece of fabric sewn to the trousers, but sewn on the upper edge.

Właściwie nie ma tu nic odkrywczego , kolejność szycia jak w innych poprzednich krótkich spodniach.

Guziki z belgijskiego demobilu , nici Ariadna Talia 80E w jasnym blado-zielonym kolorze 7541 (idealnie pasują do różnych pustynnych wzorów).

Są takie dni kiedy nie można sobie znaleźć żadnego sensownego tematu do szycia ale jednak coś by się położyło pod stopkę maszyny...

Cokolwiek...  Tak aby posłuchać jak maszyna szumi.

Wyciągam wtedy jakieś zaległe pomysły , zwykle coś prostego.

Patchwork jest do tego idealny. Zawsze gdzieś tam krąży po głowie w tej czy innej formie.

Używane jeansy Lee + resztki różnych wojskowych tkanin. Niektóre dość stare.

There are days when you cannot find any meaningful sewing topic, but still something would be placed under the foot of the sewing machine ...

Anything...  So as to listen to the machine hum.

Then I pull out some overdue , forgotten ideas, usually something simple.

Patchwork is perfect for that moments. It is always somewhere in my head in one form or another.

Used , vintage Lee jeans + remnants of various military fabrics. Some of them fairly old.

Zasadniczo całość nie jest jeszcze skończona. 

Na razie odłożę je do szafy i od czasu do czasu coś będę dorzucał.

Np. skoro już doszyłem guziki na wysokości pasa to najprawdopodobniej powstanie jakaś forma szelek.

Spodnie moro bez bocznych szwów / Irish Camo pants without side seams

Materiał rip-stop w kamuflażu armii Irlandzkiej , tkanina najprawdopodniej oryginalna.

Jakieś połączenie sztucznego z bawełną z wykończeniem hydrofobowym (woda ładnie się perli na powierzchni).

No fajna rzecz , szkoda że tylko 2,20 metra :(

Rip-stop fabric in Irish Army camouflage pattern, most likely original.

Some kind of combination of synthetic fibers with cotton with a hydrophobic finish (water pearls nicely on the surface).

Nice thing, it's a pity that only 2.20 meters :(

Ponieważ w poprzednich spodniach pojawił się (trochę) problem bocznych zewnętrznych szwów skręcających do przodu - te zostały uszyte tak aby całkowicie uniknąć tematu.

Nie ma bocznych szwów - nie ma się co skręcać - nie ma problemu.

W taki sposób uszyte są m. innymi spodnie dla armii byłej NRD (stąd pomysł).

As in the previous pants there was (a bit) the problem of the outer side seams twisting forward - these were sewn to avoid the subject entirely.

No side seams - no problem.

This is how trousers for the former DDR army are sewn (hence the idea).

I nogawki po wycięciu , może lekko przesadziłem z zakrzywieniem zewnętrznych linii nogawek.

Żółte linie u góry tak ogólnie pokazują gdzie będą wycięcia i później zszywanie.

And the legs after cutting, maybe I exaggerated slightly with the curvature of the outer lines of the legs.

The yellow lines at the top generally show where the pattern will be cut and later sewn.

The cut , the arrangement of the pockets loosely resembles to the cut of the original Irish military pants.

Spodnie "bojówki" z Luksemburga / Luxembourg Army desert camo pants

Wzór kamuflażu pustynnego używany przez siły zbrojne państwa Luksemburg na lekkiej bawełnianej tkaninie typu rip-stop - ciąg dalszy.

Tym razem uszyłem długie spodnie.

Jak wzór do skopiowania posłużyły moje stare spodnie BDU w kamuflażu woodland , standardowy , bardzo popularny model.

Spodnie męczyłem chyba z miesiąc , z przerwami (fala upałów , poprawki po remoncie , poprawki po poprawkach etc.)

I ten tego...  Dawno nie szyłem długich spodni i niestety trochę się to odbiło na niektórych elementach.

Ale ogólnie wyszły fajnie , nawet trafiłem z rozmiarem :)

Desert camouflage pattern used by the Armed Forces of Luxembourg , lightweight rip-stop cotton fabric - continuation of the topic.

This time - I sewed long pants.

The pattern used here was my old woodland camouflage BDU pants, a standard, very popular type.

I have been struggling with these sewing for about month, with breaks from time to time (heat wave, repairs after renovation, small repairs after repairs after renovation etc :)

And... I haven't sewed long pants for a long time and unfortunately it had a bit of an impact on some elements.

But overall they came out nice, I even catch the correct size :)

Nie jest to 100% wierna kopia BDU , raczej coś na wzór i podobieństwo.

Czasami różnice są zamierzone - tylne wpuszczane kieszenie w BDU fajnie wyglądają ale nigdy ich nie używam. Więc tutaj całkowicie zrezygnowałem z ich szycia. 

Zamiast tego tylko naszyte dwa paski tkaniny w rozmiarze odpowiadającym patkom kieszeniowym.

Wygląda jak prawdziwe - mnie pasuje.

Jak zwykle przy długich spodniach , pomimo moich najszczerszych chęci występuje (trochę) zjawisko zewnętrznych szwów (poniżej kolan) skręcających do przodu - błąd podczas krojenia elementów / szycia ?

Ponieważ nie jestem w stanie tego ogarnąć - następne długie spodnie będą szyte bez zewnętrznych szwów. Nie ma szwów - nie ma problemu :)

Nici użyte do projektu Ariadna Artyn 80E kolor nr. 7611 oraz 7641. Oba kolory świetnie pasują do takich pustynnych klimatów.

It is not a 100% faithful copy of the BDU, but rather something very similar.

Sometimes the differences are intentional - the back slit pockets on the BDU look nice, but I never use them. So here I gave up sewing them completely.

Instead, only two strips of fabric are sewn on in the size corresponding to the pocket flaps.

It looks real - it suits me.

As usual with long trousers, despite my best wishes, there is (a little) twisting of the outer seams (below the knees) to the front - a mistake when cutting elements / sewing ?

Since I am not able to eliminate it - the next long pants will be sewn without external seams. No seams - no problem :)

Threads used for the design Ariadna Artyn 80E color no. 7611 and 7641. Both colors are great for such desert themes.

Już na początku , na etapie wycinania elementów - błąd :( 

Źle rozłożone wykroje i ostatnia część nogawek się nie mieści na przygotowanym (wykurczonym etc.) odcinku tkaniny. 

Nic to - tył jednej z nogawek będzie z dwóch części. Ten kamuflaż powoduje że z odległości powyżej dwóch metrów nic nie widać :)

Already at the beginning, at the stage of cutting out elements - error :(

Improperly arranged patterns and the last part of the legs does not fit on the prepared (shrunken, etc.) section of the fabric.

It's nothing - the back of one of the legs will be made of two parts. This camouflage makes the seams invisible from a distance of more than two meters :)

I tak to wygląda po skończeniu.

Ponieważ tkaniny jeszcze trochę jest temat "pustynnego Luksemburga" powróci.

Niezłe cacko , chyba powstanie z niego kilka fantów. Na początek będą krótkie spodnie , później może długie (?).

Tkanina jest produkcji niemieckiej. To taki lekki 100% bawełniany rip-stop.

W trakcie szycia strzępi się dość mocno i wydaje się raczej delikatna więc generalnie lepiej się nie mylić - w trakcie prucia zdarzyło mi się zrobić dziurę i cały element poszedł do wymiany :(

Nici używane przy projekcie to Ariadna ARTYN 80E w kolorze nr. 7641 a guziki pochodzą z starych belgijskich spodni z lat 50-ych.

The fabric is made in Germany. Such a lightweight 100% cotton rip-stop.

While sewing, it frays quite a lot and seems rather delicate, so generally it's better not to be mistaken - while removing the seam, I happened to make a hole and the whole element to be replaced :(

The threads used in the project are Ariadna ARTYN 80E, color no. 7641 and the buttons come from old Belgian trousers from the 50s.

Back pocket, and the "stairs" began.

Man, I haven't sewed such pockets for a long time, in general, I haven't sewed trousers as such for a long time and it quickly started to be noticeable :/

Tutaj doszły tylko kieszenie "cargo" jak w spodniach BDU. Prawie takie. 

Już po przygotowaniu kieszeni do przyszycia zorientowałem się że brakuje w nich jednej fałdy z boku (tak aby mogły się rozszerzać przy wypełnieniu).

Cóż , nie pierwszy i nie ostatni błąd w tych szortach , mówi się trudno i szyje dalej. I tak te kieszenie to bardziej element ozdobny niż praktyczny.

Here I only added "cargo" pockets like in BDU pants. Almost the same.

After preparing the pockets for sewing on, I realized that one fold is missing on the side (so that they could expand when filled).

Well, not the first and not the last mistake during these shorts. All in all, it does not matter, and these pockets are more decorative than practical to me.

Przerabiam fińskie spodnie "moro" w szorty / Converting Finnish M62 camouflage trousers into shorts

 A miało być szycie z pałatki. Takiej klasycznej zielonej wojskowej płachty.

Miałem sprawdzić czy da się z jednej sztuki uszyć jakąś fajną kurtkę etc.

Już nawet wstępnie ograbiłem ją z różnych dodatków (guziki , sznurki itp.) aby nie przeszkadzały i...

I jakoś tak w ręce wpadły mi spodnie wymienione w tytule postu.

Spodnie jakiś czas temu zacząłem przerabiać ale z kolei one wtedy przegrały w rywalizacji z pałatką bundeswery z której uszyłem koszulę.  (Opis zdarzenia)

And it was supposed to be sewing from a shelter half. Such a classic green military Lavvu / Shelter half.

I wanted to check if it is possible to sew a nice jacket, etc. from one piece.

I even initially robbed it of various accessories (buttons, strings, etc.) so that they would not interfere and ...

And somehow I got the pants mentioned in the title of the post.

Some time ago I started to remake these pants, but in turn they lost in the competition with the Bundeswehr snow camo shelter half from which I sewed the shirt.  ( the whole event here )

Takie fińskie spodnie to niezły kawałek fajnej bawełnianej tkaniny w ciekawym wzorze i w miarę rozsądnej cenie (zazwyczaj...)

Szyło się to naprawdę przyjemnie.

A z odciętych nogawek pozostała jeszcze ilość wystarczająca na jakieś nakrycie głowy.

These Finnish pants are a large piece of nice cotton fabric in an interesting pattern and reasonably priced (usually ...)

The fabric is pleasant to sew, no problems.

And from the cut off the legs there is still enough fabric to make some kind of head gear.

Szybkie spodnie dresowe / Quick tracksuit pants

 Z cyklu szybkie szycie - spodnie dresowe w drobną kratkę.

Tkanina , dresówka . kupiona w ciucholandzie. Prawie dwa metry za 8zł.

Nie jest jakoś szczególnie urodziwa ale brzydka też nie (taka drobna szara kratka) a mnie potrzebne były nowe spodnie dresowe - takie "po domu".

Zastosowane nici to jakieś szare Ariadna Artyn 80E.

Wykrój i szycie oparłem na krótkich spodniach z TEGO postu.

Zmiany to brak kieszeni biodrowych , miały być wpuszczane po bokach ale odpuściłem sobie (lenistwo Level - Hard).  Jest tylko jedna mała kieszeń z tyłu.

Nogawki po prostu przedłużyłem i ciut zwęziłem - ale i tak wyszły dość szerokie.

From the quick sewing series - tracksuit pants with a fine check pattern.

Fabric bought in a second hand store. Almost two meters for 8 PLN.

It is not particularly pretty, but it is also not ugly (such a small gray check) and I needed new sweatpants - for home use.

The threads used are some gray Ariadna Artyn 80E.

The pattern and sewing are based on short pants from THIS post.

The changes are the lack of hip pockets, they were supposed to be let in on the sides, but I gave up (Laziness level - Hard). There is only one small pocket on the back.

I just extended the legs and narrowed it a bit - but they still came out quite wide.

And that's it :)

Szorty męskie "plażowe" / Men's desert 6 color camo beach shorts

Szorty w rodezyjskim camo miały być ostatnie w tym sezonie ale że lato nie poddaje się a szorty w "deszczyk" zużywają się zastraszająco szybko (słaba jakość tkaniny) postanowiłem machnąć jeszcze jedne.

Aby nie było nudno oraz było w miarę szybko przetestuję inny sposób szycia.

Tym razem szorty z gumką w pasie (dodatkowo ściągane sznurkiem) oraz uproszczony wykrój bez bocznych zewnętrznych szwów - zamiast czterech głównych części są dwie. Nie ma oddzielnego pasa tylko zawinięty do środka materiał tworzy tunel na gumkę.  Nie ma rozpinanego rozporka - trzeba sobie radzić bez niego ;)

Materiał - oryginalny , kontraktowy pokrowiec na plecak / zapasowe koło armii amerykańskiej w kamuflażu pustynnym "Desert 6 Color".  Wzór stał się sławny i rozpoznawalny w czasie pierwszej wojny w Zatoce Perskiej (1990/1991). 

Niestety nigdzie nie dokopałem się do dokładnego składu tkaniny - często określany jest jako "canvas" lub "cotton" i to wszystko. 

Zakładam więc że to 100% bawełna lub coś zbliżonego do tkaniny mundurowej czyli NYCO - nylon/cotton 50/50 (to było by lepsze ze względu na wytrzymałość). 

Użyte nici to Ariadna Talia 80E w kolorze 7541 - taki ładny blado-jasno zielony kolor.

Data produkcji pokrowca 1983 :)  Swoją drogą , pamiętam jak jako dzieciak siedziałem na dywanie i oglądałem w pudełkowatym telewizorze (jeszcze nie było płaskich ekranów , przynajmniej u nas) reportaże z operacji "Desert Storm".

Nie uwieczniłem dawcy tkaniny w stanie nietkniętym (w razie czego można sobie wyguglać) , jest to zasadniczo duży kawałek tkaniny w kształcie ośmiokąta. Brzegi zawinięte i zaszyte w tunel w którym jest elastyczny sznurek. 

Po rozpruciu i rozprasowaniu wygląda tak:

Rhodesian camo shorts were supposed to be the last ones this season, but as summer does not give up and the "rain" pattern camo shorts wear out frighteningly quickly (poor quality fabric) I decided to make another one.

To avoid boredom and to make it as fast as possible, I will test another sewing method.

This time shorts with an elastic waistband (with an additional drawstring) and a simplified pattern without side external seams - instead of the four main parts, there are two. There is no separate belt, only the fabric folded inside creates a tunnel for the elastic band. There is no fly (zipped  or buttoned) , you have to live without it ;)

Fabric - US Army original, contract cover for a backpack/spare tire in "Desert 6 Color" camouflage. This pattern became famous and recognizable during the First Gulf War (1990/1991).

Unfortunately, I haven't found the exact composition of the fabric anywhere - it is often referred to as "canvas" or "cotton" and that's it.

So I assume that it is 100% cotton or something similar to the uniform fabric, i.e. NYCO - nylon / cotton 50/50 (this would be better due to the durability).

The threads used are Ariadna Talia 80E, color 7541 - a nice pale-light green color.

Date of production of the cover 1983 :) By the way, I remember as a kid sitting on the carpet and watching in a box shaped TV (there were no flat screens back then) reports from the operation "Desert Storm".
