"Ogórkowy przysmak" powraca !
"Ogórkowy przysmak" - po fińsku "kurkkusalatti" czyli potoczna nazwa fińskiego wzoru kamuflażowego M62.
Zasadniczo szycie zbliżone do tego co już raz robiłem w grudniu 2021 (jak ten czas leci).
Z dwóch bluz w M62 powstała jedna kurtka / parka krojem nawiązująca do brytyjskich smock Pattern 63.
Obie bluzy wg. pieczątek wyprodukowane pod koniec lat 80-ych.
Do kompletu powstał jeszcze kapelusz.

The "cucumber relish" is back !
"Cucumber relish" or"kurkkusalatti" the common name of the Finnish M62 camouflage pattern.
Basically, the sewing was similar to what I already did once in December 2021 (how time flies).
Two jackets in M62 were created into one jacket/parka with a cut referring to the British smock Pattern 63.
Both jakcets according to stamps produced in the late 1980s.
There was also a hat to complete the set.
Jest praktycznie niemożliwe znalezienie dwóch kurtek lub spodni i kurtki o takim samym odcieniu kolorów (lub jest to bardzo trudne).
Obie ciut się różniły , widoczna na zdjęciu o jaśniejszym odcieniu posłużyła jako baza do modyfikacji.
Kurtka ciemniejsza stała się źródłem tkaniny do kaptura , nowych kieszeni i innych elementów.

It is virtually impossible to find two jackets or trousers and a jacket with the same color shade (or very difficult).
Both were slightly different, the lighter shade visible in the photo was used as a base for modifications.
The darker jacket became the source of fabric for the hood, new pockets and other elements.
Na początek obie kurtki zostały pozbawione kieszeni i kołnierzy , ciemniejsza została też rozparcelowana na poszczególne części.

To begin with, both jackets were stripped of their pockets and collars, and the darker one was divided into individual parts.
Następnie szyję i montuję kaptur.
Taki jak w wszystkich poprzednich smock-ach.
Tutaj w kapturze nad czołem wszyty mały przeszywany daszek.
Po bokach otwory na sznurek ściągający. W sumie mogłem nabić metalowe oczka bo jeśli chodzi o obszywanie dziurek moja maszyna strzelała straszliwe "fochy".
Koniec końców się udało ale lekko nie było... :(

Then I sew and assemble the hood.
Same as in all previous smocks.
Here a small, stitched visor is sewn into the hood above the forehead.
Holes on the sides for a drawstring. Actually, I could have added metal eyelets when it came to sewing the buttonholes my sewing machine refused to work properly (?) Heat or what ?
In the end it worked, but it wasn't easy... :(
Jak w każdym pattern 63 po wszyciu kaptura całość zaczyna wyglądać naprawdę ciekawie :)
Następnie wszywanie frontowego zamka błyskawicznego - zielony kostkowy 6 mm dwusuwakowy Alpha oraz przykrywająca go listwa na guziki.
I zaczyna się ta najprzyjemniejsza część - naszywanie kieszeni etc.
Taki ciekawy dodatek - pod pachami dwa małe krótkie zamki błyskawiczne (z niemieckiego kombinezonu lotniczego). Służą jako wentylacja oraz po rozpięciu można sięgać do kieszeni na odzieży pod spodem.
Jak widać na zdjęciu kurtka od narodzin jest lekko zwężana w pasie. Dlatego dałem sobie spokój z wszywaniem tunelu na sznurek sciągający w pasie.
Oraz dlatego że kolidował by on z zamkami błyskawicznymi po bokach - ale to wyszło już w trakcie szycia :/
No cóż , kłania się lepsze planowanie...

As in every pattern 63, after sewing in the hood, the whole thing starts to look really interesting :)
Then sewing in the front zipper - a green 6 mm two-slider Alpha cube and a button strip covering it.
And the most pleasant part begins - sewing on pockets, etc.
Such an interesting addition - two small short zippers under the arms (from german army flight suit). They serve as ventilation and when opened, you can reach the pockets on the clothes underneath.
As you can see in the photo, the jacket has been slightly narrowed at the waist since production.
That's why I gave up on sewing a tunnel for the drawstring at the waist.
And because it would interfere with the zippers on the sides - but I discovered this only while sewing :/
Oh well, better planning is in order... That's for sure.
I gotowe. Naszyte kieszenie , cztery z przodu i jedna na ramieniu.
Dodane zostały też prostokątne wzmocnienia na rękawach / przedramionach.
Sznurki ściągające z worków transportowych z LWP (Ludowe Wojsko Polskie) ale już plastikowe stopery całkowicie "modern".
Tkanina w dwóch odcieniach daje ciekawy efekt końcowy.

And it's done.
Sewn-in pockets, four on the front and one smaller on the shoulder.
Rectangular reinforcements have also been added on the sleeves/forearms.
Drawstrings from transport bags from the Polish People's Army (LWP) from the late 80s, but plastic stoppers are completely "modern".
The fabric in two shades gives an interesting final effect.
Użyte nici to Ariadna Artyn 80E w ciemnozielonym kolorze 0756 i gdzieniegdzie białe (też Artyn).
Igła grubość 100.
Szyło się to , prasowało i kroiło bardzo przyjemnie , w końcu to fajna grubsza 100% bawełna.
Czasami kilka warstw sprawiało lekkie problemy ale wszystko było do ogarnięcia.
W zasadzie jedyne co odbierało przyjemność z tworzenia to ten paskudny UPAAAŁ :(
To już taka tradycja u mnie - nadchodzi największy skwar a więc czas na szycie smock-a.

The threads used are Ariadna Artyn 80E in dark green color 0756 and here and there white (also Artyn).
Needle thickness 100.
The fabric is very pleasant to sew, iron, cut, etc. , after all, it's nice, thicker 100% cotton.
Sometimes several layers caused slight problems, but everything was manageable.
Basically, the only thing that took away the pleasure of creating was this nasty HEAT :(
It's already a tradition for me - the hottest weather is coming, so it's time to sew a smock.
Naprawdę lubię ten wzór "moro". Pewnie jeszcze będzie wracał.
