Czepki damskie ciąg dalszy.
Tym razem temat zaczęty w październiku 2024.
Później coś w międzyczasie wypadło , później święta , później mnóstwo różnych rzeczy , później coroczny wczesno - wiosenny atak alergii...
Ale wreszcie kończymy.
Tym razem czepek letni - letnia , cienka , zwiewna tkanina w kratkę. Żadnych podszewek. Jedna warstwa.
Inna konstrukcja daszka i części naramiennej - spotkałem się (w internetach) z opiniami że właśnie taka konstrukcja cechowała prawdziwe czepki a te z lekko zwężającymi się po bokach daszkami to wymysł Hollywood.
Hmm... Nie wiem , nie znam się aż tak. Wydaje mi się że skoro czepki były produktem w dużej mierze samodzielnie wytwarzanym (?) to pewnie było mnóstwo stylów i wariacji (?).
Skoro miało być tak "realistycznie" to z tyłu nie zrobiłem ściągacza z wszytą gumką tylko zmarszczyłem tkaninę nitkami.
Daszek dookoła twarzy uszyty z trzech warstw tkaniny - i w tym przypadku okazało się to trochę za mało. Po gęstym przeszyciu daszek nadal jest ciut za miękki.
Trzeba było dać z cztery albo i pięć warstw lub jedną z czegoś grubszego.
Ogólnie lekka , zwiewna tkanina nie ułatwiał mi życia :/

This time a summer bonnet - summer, thin, airy fabric in a checkered pattern. No lining. One layer of fabric.
A different construction of the visor and shoulder part - I've come across (on the Internet) opinions that this was the construction that characterized real bonnets and those with slightly narrowing visors on the sides are a Hollywood invention.
Hmm... I don't know, I'm not an expert. It seems to me that since bonnets were a largely self-made product (?), there must have been a lot of styles and variations (?).
Since it was supposed to be so "realistic", I didn't make a drawstring with sewn-in elastic at the back, but rather gathered the fabric with threads.
The visor around the face sewn from three layers of fabric - and in this case it turned out to be a bit too little. After dense stitching the peak is still a bit too soft.
It should have been four or even five layers or one of something thicker.
Overall, the light, airy fabric didn't make my life easier :/
I think I'll make the next one from denim ?
